Sion College Tour of Lords Cricket Ground & Seminar Lunch with Lincoln Harvey on the Theology of Sport

Lords – the home of cricket – is one of the world’s most famous sports grounds, steeped in over 200 years of history and tradition. The tour will include the grade 2 listed Pavilion, the legendary Long Room and players’ dressing rooms with their honours boards, and the MCC Museum.

After the tour, the seminar lunch will be held a short distance away at Crocker’s Folly, a Grade II listed pub in St John’s Wood.

Our Speaker during lunch at Crocker’s Folly will be Lincoln Harvey, Assistant Dean at St Mellitus College and Lecturer in Systematic Theology, who will be talking to the Sion College party about the Theology of Sport.

If you have not yet registered for online payment you will be asked to do this and your registration will need to be validated by the Administrator before you can use the facility. You will only need to register once, and for any applications for subsequent events you will need only to log in. Payment is taken by PayPal, but you do not need a PayPal account.

• Successful applicants will be sent further information by Tuesday 28th January, 2020
• Cancellations notified after Friday 31st January, 2019 will not be refunded
• Attendees will be expected to honour any food choices submitted in advance

Sion College events are often over-subscribed and each place is generously subsidised. If you are offered a place but are unable to attend for any reason, please let the office know so that your place may be offered to another. In the event of failure to attend without notice after being reserved a place, the Court will require a refund of the subsidy.  Application for a place at any Sion event constitutes acceptance of this proviso.
