Artemisia Gentileschi – a Sion College Seminar with Fiona Alderton (on Zoom)
Wednesday 13th January 2021
7:00 for 7:30pm
In 17th-century Europe, at a time when women artists were not easily accepted, Artemisia was exceptional. She challenged conventions and defied expectations to become a successful artist and one of the greatest storytellers of her time.
Fiona Alderton is an educator and storyteller at the National Gallery. With a background in performing, she writes and gives sessions for adults and children, including commissions for various organisations such as the National Portrait Gallery, Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Royal Opera Hose in London. She is delivering this seminar in a personal capacity.
Applicants to this Sion College seminar are asked on the application form to confirm their postal address. Attendees will be sent a wine and snack package during the week before the event.
If you have not yet registered for online payment you will be asked to do this and your registration will need to be validated by the Administrator before you can use the facility. You will only need to register once, and for any applications for subsequent events you will need only to log in. Payment is taken by PayPal, but you do not need a PayPal account.
Please note
Sion College events are often over-subscribed and each place is generously subsidised. If you are offered a place but are unable to attend for any reason, please let the office know so that your place may be offered to another.
