Seminar Supper: Preaching in Lent
Speaker: Andrew Nunn, Dean of Southwark
The Oxford & Cambridge Club, 71-77 Pall Mall, St. James's, London SW1Y 5HD
To both regular churchgoers and to those who might be attending church specifically as a “Lenten resolution” the season of Lent is understood in a wide variety of ways. Andrew Nunn, will be speaking at this Sion College seminar supper at the Oxford and Cambridge Club a few weeks before Lent 2019 begins.
Andrew’s ministry as Dean of Southwark Cathedral, on the South Bank of the Thames and in the heart of London, draws upon the rich tradition of the church which calls us to be embedded in our community as we share the gospel. He draws upon significant and diverse experiences to preach in some of the most beautiful and challenging moments in the life of the surrounding community, city and nation.
