Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman
A Sion College visit to the Piccadilly Theatre
Following a run at the Young Vic, where it was sold out, this production of Arthur Miller’s masterpiece Death of a Salesman has transferred to the Piccadilly Theatre.
Marianne Elliott and Miranda Cromwell bring a unique vision to one of the greatest plays of the twentieth century, seen through the eyes of an African-American family. Willy Loman is one of the great tragic figures of the modern theatre, a man struggling with the weight of other people’s expectations, a believer in a version of the American Dream, a humane figure ultimately, and tragically, devoted to his family.
