Seminar Supper: Modern Commonwealth
Speaker: Robert Hardman, Royal biographer
The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 54 independent and equal countries, of which 31 are small states, many of them island nations. It is home to 2.4 billion people, and includes both advanced economies and developing countries. Its members work together to promote prosperity, democracy and peace, amplify the voice of small states, and protect the environment.
Our venue for this seminar supper is The Caledonian Club. Originally founded in 1891 it is the representative national club and headquarters for Scots in London.
