Founder’s Day: Sion College Lecture at Lambeth Palace
Speaker: Lord Evans, Chair of Parliamentary Committee on Standards in Public Life
Lord Evans will speak on ‘Public Standards’ with some reflections on his role at the Security service. The lecture will be given on the basis of the Chatham House rule under which participants are free to use the information received but the identity and affiliation of participants may not be revealed.
Entry to Lambeth Palace will be from 5:15pm, with Evening Prayer in the Upper Chapel at 5:30pm. After which there will be a drinks reception at 6pm in the State Drawing Room. This will be followed by the lecture in the Guard Room at 6:30 and a buffet dinner at 7:45pm. The evening will finish with departure by 9:30pm.
Fellows and members are invited to apply for places for guests (maximum one guest each). However, please note that guest applications can only be accepted if there is space after applications from fellows and members.
