Sion College is excited to host a conversation between two leading journalists on the pressures facing the free press around the world. They will discuss the increasing pressure and threat that the free press is under including: Russia, Putin, the war in Ukraine and the wrongful detention and recent release of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich. We are honoured to be joined by Luke Harding and Gráinne McCarthy, who will have a conversation about this important topic and then open up for questions. A glass of wine will be available on arrival from 7pm, with their talk starting promptly at 7:30pm. Afterwards, there will be time for further drinks and canapés.
