Thursday 13th October 2022, 7:00 for 7:30 pm
Café Below, St Mary-Le-Bow Church, Cheapside, London EC2V 6AU
John Casson CMG is the leader of L’Arche UK, a voluntary organisation which creates and grows inclusive communities of people with and without learning disabilities. Previously John served as HM Ambassador to Egypt from 2014 to 2018, and before that as the Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Private Secretary. John will speak about L’Arche’s distinctive charism, how society can become kinder and more human, and touch on issues many Christian organisations face today, including the shadow of historic abuse and how to remain distinctively Christian while being radically inclusive.
The venue for this seminar supper is Café Below, a family-run restaurant set in the historic Norman crypt of St Mary-le-Bow Church in the City.
