Visit to the Supreme Court, with Tea in the Cellarium Terrace, Westminster Abbey with the President of the Supreme Court, Baroness Hale of Richmond
In 2009 the Supreme Court replaced the appellate jurisdiction of the House of Lords as the UK’s highest court. The Court sits in the former Middlesex Guildhall – an impressive building in the gothic style - on the west side of Parliament Square. It hears appeals on points of law of the greatest public importance for the whole of the United Kingdom in civil cases and for England, Wales and Northern Ireland in criminal cases.

Please note
Sion College events are often over-subscribed and each place is generously subsidised. If you are offered a place but are unable to attend for any reason, please let the office know so that your place may be offered to another. In the event of failure to attend without notice after being reserved a place, the Court will require a refund of the subsidy. Application for a place at any Sion event constitutes acceptance of this proviso.
